Remember when we attended live shows to support artists who gave us messages and sounds that spoke to our souls? We’d get a bonus when we encountered openers or headliners we’d never heard or seen before. Those were the ‘good ole days,’ indeed.
Then the experience of going out to venues became more work than we wanted to take on. COVID sealed the deal for most of us who were already on the fence. This was the perfect storm for (us) artists who often feel invalidated and unheard. Many of us also experienced difficulties getting booked, or became victims of predatory, alcohol-haven establishments that are far from art-centric.

Curated and hosted by TERRELL X. Filmed, recorded and edited by Sam Wagner of Suede Studio. This informative series journeys into the creative mind and history of each featured artist, providing opportunities for deeper connections. The Green Sofa Session are supported by raw, exclusive live performance footage and striking images that are sure to hold the viewer’s attention. Many of the performances are filmed on location at THE GALLOWS (Terrell’s private studio space), which also celebrates the output of independent musicians with a parallel series called “Live From The Gallows (where the Public Execution takes place)”.
